A Soldier gets injured in Iraq (Part 2)

Today was the day I was to find out exactly what happened to the Soldier that got his scrotum split open. I met up with the Soldier and discovered the description of the way the accident happened was not quite true. The Soldier told me that he did not remember much after the morphine and other painkillers. What he did remember though is still very interesting. Since I was not there, I still keep trying to visualize exactly how this must have happened and what it must have been like to see it happening. It must have been something to see. The facts of the story, told by the injured Soldier himself: "I was working on a scud bunker, when one of the hooks for the crane hooked onto my testicles and tore open my scrotum." Now, imagine if you will, the size of this crane used to move heavy objects, like slabs of concrete, hooking onto a soft, tender, fleshy part of your body and then as it begins to lift you up off the ground your skin cannot bear the weight of your body and rips apart. It must have been extremely painful. Good thing is he will be all right and back to work in about two weeks. He only had to receive a few stitches.
