A Soldier gets injured in Iraq

I am my unit’s Safety NCO. I must perform this additional duty in conjunction with my Official duties. Usually this consists of posting safety flyers, ensuring a general since of safety, and ensuring safety is a priority in all tasks. However, every now and then, someone will get hurt, which will require filling out a form pertaining to the accident. Most of the forms filled out are for someone slipping on ice or a wet floor or rolling an ankle playing basketball, but occasionally something out of the ordinary will happen. I once got a call for a Soldier who stated he hurt his back when he slipped in the shower while trying to have sex. I find instances like this funny, not because someone got hurt, but because in the way they got hurt and in the way they tell their stories. I would have simply stated I slipped in the shower (enough said). Today, I found out I have to fill out a safety form that is due tomorrow for a Soldier who "split his scrotum on a fence." My reply was, "What, did he try to jump over it?" Apparently, he did and failed. I learned from a very young age, and figured most boys do as well, that you never try to "hurdle" a fence. You place a hand on it and hop over with both feet at the same time, and if necessary, you land on top of the fence with your feet and take a second hop off the fence. I do not yet have the full details of the story, but I will have them tomorrow after I fill out the form. I will then share the story of, "How a Soldier split his scrotum on a fence."
